Youth & Youth focused Civil Society organizations of Nepal are collectively organizing Nepal Youth Social Forum (NYSF)-2070 in Dhangadi, Kailali during 8-9 March 2014. This mega event of two days is expected to bring around 100 organizations and 10-15 thousand youth from diverse walks of life ideally advocating for various themes together.

NYSF this time is the fifth version and the previous four versions were organized in each of the of development regions of Nepal--(Kathmandu 2063, Nepalgunj 2064, Biratnagar 2065, Tansen 2067). The upcoming NYSF is undergoing a serious preparation and coordination currently. Youth Action Nepal is holding the secretariat to coordinate this event.

Theme of this forum are: . The Nepal Youth Social Forum 2070 with the main slogan "Dignity, Justice and Development, Moving Ahead: Experiencing from the Past" has been planned to be organized in Dhangadi under the themes of; Youth Participation, Livelihood & Employment, Youth Migration, Women health rights & violation, FW & MW specific social issues & mainstreaming, Good governance & local development, FW & MW Development, sustainability & possibilities, Social security, Constitution making process & cross cutting issues.

Proposed Activities: Parallel & plenary thematic workshop, development expo., rally & public demonstration, information exchange program, pictures, arts & posters exhibitions, IEC corner, speech & poetry session, street drama & forum theatres, featuring documentaries, local cultural performance, dialogue & interactions, youth views collection, signature campaign, entrepreneurship promotion event, and many more campaign.

To be the part of NYSF (organiser or solidarity organization):

All the youth or non-youth social organisations interested to organise one or more events or provide other kinds of technical and financial support will be the organiser of NYSF. One page short organizer registration form should be filled up and send to the secretariat is a basic requirement to be an organizer.

One can be a part of NYSF in one or the many ways mentioned below:

Be an organizer or solidarity organization of whole NYSF
Be an organizer of any kind of events suitable related to the prioritize issues
Be an active participant of the NYSF
Be a mode to disseminate information and encourage the possible stakeholders (individual, organization or any other groups) to be a part of NYSF
